How to Add KCC to Metamask [In 5 Easy Steps]

If you have purchased Kucoin Token (KCS) you may be looking to add the KCC network to metamask. But how do we go about that?

Today I’ll show you exactly (In 5 DETAILED Steps) how to add KCC to Metamask and its native token KCS.

Here is what you’ll learn:

1. A 5 Simple and DETAILED step-by-step process to add KCC network to Metamask.

2. The best KCC wallets to store your KCS safely.

3. + Lots MORE

Let’s dive right in.

Wondering how to add KCC to Metamask? Good choice! The Kucoin Community Chain is expanding rapidly. Last year, KCC launched a $50M Ecosystem Accelerator for new products.

KuCoin Community Chain (KCC) is a decentralized blockchain network developed by Kucoin, a popular cryptocurrency exchange. Kucoin created KCC to be a faster (average block time is under 3 seconds) and low-cost alternative to Ethereum’s exorbitant fees.

The Kucoin Community Chain (KCC) is EVM-compatible. That means it can be easily added to Metamask. In this post, I will show you how!

How to Add KCC to Metamask?

Before we get into the specifics, here are the details you need to connect Metamask to Kucoin Community Chain (KCC):

  • Network Name: KCC MAINNET
  • New RPC URL:
  • ChainID: 321
  • Currency Symbol: KCS
  • Block Explorer URL:

Note: If you are a developer looking to test your dApps on KCC, you may be wondering how to add the KCC Testnet. We’ll go over the specifics below.

If you want a DETAILED, step-by-step guide on how to add these details to Metamask, Keep ON READING! Here’s what we’ll cover:

1. Can I add KCC to Metamask?

Yes. The Kucoin Community Chain (KCC) network is EVM-compatible. That means it’s simple to add to Metamask.

Developers can use the power of Ethereum to deploy and run dApps on KCC for a fraction of a cent.

Kucoin Community Chain (KCC) has its own native token, KCS. KCS is used to pay for gas fees, earn dividends (users who hold more than 6 KCS can get a daily dividend), participate in governance (GoDAO), and power Kucoin decentralized products like the KuChain Decentralized Exchange (DEX).

2. How to Add KCC Network to Metamask

This section will show how to add the KCC network and its native token (KCS) to your Metamask Wallet. When you add the KCC Network, KCS will be added automatically for you.

To connect to the KCC Network via Metamask you need the right custom RPC points: network name, New RPC URL, Chain ID, and Currency symbol.

Before You Start:

  • Ensure you have a computer or mobile device with an internet connection
  • Ensure you have a web3 crypto wallet like Metamask installed on your browser or mobile device (iOS and Android).
NOTE: If you haven’t installed Metamask on your browser or mobile devices please head to the Metamask official website, download the application and create a wallet. Always keep your recovery phrase in a safe place.

Without further ado, let’s get started with our 5-Step Guide:

STEP 1: Unlock your Metamask Wallet

The first step is to unlock our Metamask browser extension or mobile Android/iOS device. Click the browser extension (or mobile app) and enter your secure password in the box.

Unlock Metamask Wallet

STEP 2: Click on the Network Dropdown Box

When you unlock your wallet, you’ll see the name of your default network (E.g., Ethereum Mainnet) as well as a dropdown arrow. Click that option to see a list of all your available networks.

Network Dropdown Box
Note: On mobile devices, select the hamburger menu.

STEP 3: Click Add Network Button

At the bottom of your list of available networks, you’ll see an Add Network Button. Hit this button to add a new network to Metamask.

Note: On mobile devices, go to Settings and Select Networks

STEP 4: Click on “Add a Network Manually”

Following that, you’ll see a screen with the option to automatically add other networks. Unfortunately, Kucoin Network is not on that list. So, we will need to add it manually.

Click on [Add the Network Manually]

Add a Network Manually
Note: On mobile devices, Click on “Add Network.”

Step 5: Input KCC RPC Network Details and Save

The final step is to input the RPC network details. RPC (remote procedure call) is a URL that allows you to connect to a server node (for example, the Kucoin server) and interact with that Blockchain.

There are two kinds of Kucoin networks. The production or real network, known as KCC Mainnet, and the Kucoin testing network, known as KCC Tesnet.

If you are not a developer that wants to test their dApps before implementing them on the “real” blockchain, you can disregard the KCC Tesnet information.

Note: On mobile devices switch to custom networks and fill up the KCC RPC custom Details. Then, click “Add.”

Fill in:

KCC Mainnet Info:

KCC Mainnet

  • Network Name: KCC MAINNET
  • New RPC URL:
  • ChainID: 321
  • Currency Symbol: KCS
  • Block Explorer URL:

Adding KCC Blockchain Explorer is optional, but it is always a good idea to fill out all of the information and know where to verify all KCS blockchain transactions.

KCC RPC Testnet Info:

KCC Testnet

  • Network Name: KCC Testnet
  • New RPC URL:
  • ChainID: 322
  • Currency Symbol: tKCS
  • Block Explorer URL:

After you input all the details, just click “Save” and Voilá!, your default network (E.g, Ethereum Mainnet) will be switched automatically to the KCC Network.

Now you are ready to interact with the KCC Ecosystem!

3. Conclusion

The Kucoin Community Chain was founded by the Kucoin Exchange (KCC). KCC provides an enjoyable experience with rapid transactions, minimal fees, built-in Ethereum compatibility, and security rigorously verified by reputable validators.

Adding KCC to Metamask is easy. We only need the right kcc rpc information to connect to Kucoin Community Chain.

Here’s the 5-step process we use:

  • Step 1: Unlock your Metamask Wallet
  • Step 2: Click on the Network Dropdown Box
  • Step 3: Click Add Network Button
  • Step 4: Click on “Add a Network Manually”
  • Step 5: Input KCC RPC Network Details and Save
    • Network Name: KCC MAINNET
    • New RPC URL:
    • ChainID: 321
    • Currency Symbol: KCS
    • Block Explorer URL:
NOTE: Do not forget to store your coins safely on a hardware wallet like Ellipal Titan or Safepal

4. FAQs

Can Metamask receive KCC?

Yes. KCC has built-in compatibility with Ethereum to allow developers to leverage the power of Ethereum on KCC. Since is an EVM-compatible network it can be easily added to Metamask.

The KCCPad is a decentralized and deflationary IDO platform. You must have KCCPAD tokens to participate. To add a KCCPAD token to Metamask, you must use the Binance Smart Chain. Follow these steps:

  1. Launch Metamask App and Unlock it
  2. Select Binance Smart Chain (BNB Chain) Network
  3. Scroll down and click on Import Tokens
  4. Import KCCPAD Token Contract Address (Coinmarketcap)
  5. Import KCCPAD to Metamask

There are a handful of wallets that support the KCC network. From hardware wallets like Ellipal Titan and Safepal to software wallets like Metamask and Trust Wallet.
